Green View Lodges - Wigton

I had such a wonderful stay at Green View Lodges. The reception was warm and welcoming, and I was pleasantly surprised to find homemade cake and milk waiting for me in the fridge. The lodge itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed. The hot tub and sauna facilities were a luxurious treat, and I loved the option to have a BBQ and sit around the fire pit. The surrounding countryside was stunning, and I enjoyed watching the sunset from the lodge's deck. The location was also convenient for exploring nearby attractions like Honister and the beach. I couldn't fault my stay at Green View Lodges and would highly recommend it.

I would have appreciated having salt and pepper in the cupboard as it was difficult to get to shops with a busy schedule. Additionally, a drying room would have been useful in case of bad weather.

My recent stay at Green View Lodges was fantastic. The lodge itself was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The owners, Emily and Gary, were friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. Upon arrival, they even left a delicious homemade cake and milk in the lodge for me to enjoy. The location of the lodges was also perfect, with easy access to Carlisle and other nearby attractions. The highlight for me was the beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel and the lovely little paddock where my dogs could run freely.

The lodge was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Gary and Emily, the hosts, were extremely helpful and welcoming. The comfortable beds ensured a great sleep, and the little touches like cake and milk made us feel right at home. The surrounding environment was serene, with adorable farm animals as our neighbors. We highly recommend this peaceful getaway, especially for families and pet owners.

We stayed at Green View Lodges for a relaxing weekend getaway. The lodge was beautiful and had lots of homely touches. Emily made us feel very welcome and the homemade cake and fresh milk on arrival were a lovely touch. The beds were comfy and everything was spotless and clean. The hot tub and sauna suite were amazing, and the onsite leisure suite was a great bonus. We will definitely be returning to this dog-friendly lodge!

The lodge is situated in a beautiful and peaceful village. the rooms are spacious and cozy, with extremely comfortable beds. the lodge offers great facilities, including a hot tub and sauna suite, which can be booked easily. the staff are welcoming and provide special touches like farm fresh milk and homemade cake on arrival. the kitchen and bathroom facilities are excellent, providing a home-from-home experience.

The shower could have been a little more powerful.

Lovely lodge with hot tub, good Wi-Fi for cameras, comfortable beds. Adjacent field has friendly donkeys, fenced for dogs. Local pub and co-op nearby. Hosts Emily and Gary create relaxing atmosphere. Great break to unwind and enjoy.

Loved the peaceful location and beautiful views of the countryside. the lodge itself was spacious and well equipped, with three double bedrooms and two bathrooms, providing ample space for our group. the friendly owners made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. the onsite leisure suite, including the hot tub and sauna, was a fantastic bonus that we thoroughly enjoyed.

The presence of quite a few flies, which can be expected in a rural area but was a bit bothersome at times. the lodge could have benefited from better pest control measures to minimize this issue.

Everything is what I need and want.

Had a fantastic Christmas break with my family. the lodges were spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed for a home away from home experience. the hot tub and sauna facilities were a real highlight, providing a relaxing way to unwind after a busy day. the location was great for exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of activities and attractions within easy reach. the homemade cake and fresh milk waiting for us on arrival were a lovely touch.

That there weren't any shops nearby, making it a bit of a challenge to find essentials like salt and pepper. this was our own fault for not arriving prepared and didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of the stay.
